WDUA is happy to share the Mayor Star Council Volunteer Deputy Registrar Training.
This year, they are fousing on "Get Out The Vote" efforts on all levels of government specifically to get out the YP vote.
Thank you for your interest in participating in our Volunteer Deputy program. Volunteer Deputy Registrars are entrusted with the responsibility of officially registering voters in the county. They are appointed by county voter registrars and charged with helping increase voter registration in the state. Acceptance of duties of volunteer deputy registrar places you in a position of trust and responsibility to the citizens you will register to vote. Upon completing your training you will officially be appointed as a volunteer deputy registrar. The training class will be approximately 30-45 minutes. The class will cover qualifications, Texas laws and regulations, county procedures, and your responsibilities and duties as a volunteer deputy registrar.
