WDUA is happy to be partnering with the Dallas Women’s March this year.
Those of you who participated last year may remember this church - it is where we began the march that day, too!
From the starting point, we will march toward DALLAS CITY HALL, where we will rally with amazing speakers, a great DJ, and thousands of other wonderful humans in STRENGTH AND SOLIDARITY!
We STRONGLY encourage everyone to utilize DART, Lyft, Uber or carpool - parking Downtown will be extremely limited!
The Dallas Women’s March 2019 stands for fairness, gender and racial equality, women’s rights, and inclusion for all. We also stand for economic justice, civil rights, religious tolerance and LGBTQIA+ rights.
We unequivocally reject antisemitism, Islamophobia, racism, bigotry, and all forms of hate. We oppose all forms of oppression and operate from an inter-sectional lens.
Our goal is to offer an opportunity to lift up the unique role and responsibility of all women in advancing social justice. We seek to find common ground from which to organize, advocate and respond to the most pressing issues of the day. Including but not limited to, immigration and asylum policies, all forms of violence, reproductive rights, gun violence, police brutality, education, Indigenous rights and environmental protection.
The Dallas Women’s March is an independent, volunteer, grassroots organization. We are not affiliated with, and have never been affiliated with the national Women’s March Inc. organization.
